Waiting… our whole life is spent waiting. Our parents wait for us to be born in excited anticipation. Then they wait for us to talk, to walk, to go to school, to graduate, to get married, to have grandchildren. We wait in line at the grocery store, at the gas station, at the DMV. We wait to hear if we got the job. We wait for the alarm clock to go off and tell us it is time to get up, then we wait for the clock to tell us is time to go home from work. We wait for supper to be ready. We wait for our favorite TV show to come on. We wait for that movie we want to see. We wait for the next book in a series to come out. We wait for our own children to be born and then that process starts all over again. We wait for the holidays so that we can see those children who now live too far away. Waiting…waiting…waiting… Really what we are waiting for is the end of our days, think about it. All we are really doing is passing through each day, waiting for that one day we leave this earth. Waiting…
