The Number 47

If you know me at all you know that “47” is my favorite number. It has been my favorite for 25 years. It all started when every time I turned around you heard the number 47. How many people were at the party – 47. It is 47 degrees outside. Still if you listen to TV you will see and hear 47 a lot. Apartment # 47. Precinct 47. Just listen and you will see. Here is some more info –

Things that happened in 1947

•CIA established,

Everglades National Park is dedicated as a National Park

Hurricane in southeast Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama – 51 killed,

Earthquake in Chilean Andes – 233 dead,

•Severe Tornado strikes Woodward, Oklahoma killing 107,

•The Sound Barrier Broken,

•The Diary of Anne Frank is published,

my parents were married…..

Now for you true fans of my books, you will find the number “47” somewhere in each book I write.
